VICTORVILLE — NOVEMBER 5, 2026. San Bernardino County Regional Parks will offer free entry to veterans and active-duty military personnel on Veterans Day, Wednesday, November 11. The offer includes Mojave Narrows Regional Park at 18000 Yates Road in Victorville, a nearby recreation destination for High Desert families.
What the free-admission offer includes
An eligible veteran or active-duty service member, including qualifying National Guard or Reserve personnel, may receive one free vehicle admission to Mojave Narrows, Cucamonga-Guasti, Glen Helen, Prado or Yucaipa Regional Park. Everyone traveling in that eligible vehicle enters without a separate vehicle admission charge. At Calico Ghost Town in Yermo, the offer is different: one free adult admission rather than a whole vehicle entry.
Required identification
To claim the benefit, visitors must present a valid military identification card or DD214. Park staff may ask for documentation at entry. The offer does not state that every activity, rental or special service inside the park is free.
Hours and trip planning
The county lists regional park hours of 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., with Calico Ghost Town open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.. Weather and operations can affect activities, so check the park’s current notices before leaving. Readers elsewhere in the county can also use the Regional Parks directory to locate participating sites.
