VICTORVILLE — November 4, 2026, morning update. The race for a single trustee seat in Victor Elementary School District Area 2 remains close. In the county’s final unofficial overnight count, Allen G. Williams has 905 votes (51.01%) and Rachel Davis 866 (48.82%), a 39-vote margin.
Updated from the earlier 43-vote lead
California58’s earlier election-night article reported a 43-vote gap, reflecting the preceding county report. The latest count reduces that gap to 39 votes and shows all ten trustee-area precincts submitting election-night returns.
Area election versus citywide vote
This is a school board election for residents of Trustee Area 2, not a citywide mayoral or Victorville City Council election. The trustee represents that district’s seat on the wider school district board. Results cannot be inferred for families outside Area 2 from these figures.
Counting continues
Additional valid mail and provisional ballots may still be processed, so neither candidate is certified. The county’s next planned update is November 5.
