VICTORVILLE, San Bernardino County — October 22, 2026. Victorville residents do not have to rely on social media to learn what local government is considering. The city provides agendas, meeting documents, public comment instructions and a formal public-records process. Here is where to find them and what to verify before attending.

Where and when does the City Council meet?

Victorville’s official City Council information page identifies regular meetings as the first and third Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m. in the City Council Chambers at City Hall, 14343 Civic Drive. Special meetings and changes can occur, so confirm each meeting’s date, location and participation procedures from its agenda rather than relying only on the usual schedule.

Find the agenda before the meeting

Check the city’s Agendas, Meetings & Minutes page. The agenda identifies items scheduled for action and may link to background reports. People can also request addition to the city’s agenda-notification distribution list by emailing the City Clerk at cityclerk@victorvilleca.gov.

How can residents speak?

The city describes a public-comment opportunity at Council meetings. In-person speakers may complete a speaker card. The published regular rules generally limit a speaker to three minutes, subject to meeting procedures. The city also states that written public comments emailed to the City Clerk by 4 p.m. on meeting day may be distributed to Council. Its agenda page supplies remote-participation details; check the actual agenda for that meeting because access instructions can change.

A legal distinction matters: during the general public-comment period, the Council cannot simply vote on a new topic that was not properly noticed on the agenda. It can refer an issue to staff or consider putting it on a future agenda.

What if a document is missing?

Victorville provides a public records request process. You can submit a request online or contact records@victorvilleca.gov. Describe the record, date range and department as precisely as possible. A response acknowledging a request is not necessarily the same as receiving every document, and exemptions may apply.
